STUDIO OSCAR,was named after the street in Oslo where we had our training studio; Oscarsgate!
We where about 15 dancers who meet every morning for our daily training, and made performances of contemporary dance.

THE BEST PERFORMANCE I EVER WAS JOINING "Mannen fra La Mancha", aslo an co-production from NY. I was dancing one of the Donky`s ( right) and played on of the Donky drivers ( topp right)

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF 1968 to 1971

This was a long running Musical, where I was a dancer ( bottledance pic.) I was in diffrent parts from a Jew to a Russian dancer. This was a true copie of the New York performance of Jerom Robbins. His co-producer Tom Abbot was the instructor. The performance was both shown in Oslo and Sweeden ( some in Icland).

In 1967 at OSLO NYE TEATER, my first stage performance in "The White Horse" an operette from Tyrol.

Det var her jeg hadde mitt arbeid som danser og skuspiller fra 1967 til 1976.

It was in this building Det Norske Teateret I worked as a dancer and actor from 1967 to 1976.

"Så byder meg en stemme" Peer Gynt

In 1967 I was in a performance of a Mime of Peer Gynt.

Henryk Tomazewski a Polish instructor, a world famous mime and balletartist!



This performance was on the main stage of Det Norske Teater in Oslo, and in The International Musicfestival in Bergen. 1967 and 1968.

1966 / 67

Belive it ore not, but in 1966 the first only male (boy) classes of ballet education got started at The Norwegian Opera House in Oslo. Before it had only been mixed classes. We was some boys who got a schoolarship from the Wilhelmsen shipping company by Mr Tom Wilhelmsen shipowner. I was at the age of 16, becomming 17.
